Eph 2:6 “ And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus”

As a believer, we are to be seated in the ‘heavenlies” as Eph 2:6 says, or as one translation says: “heavenly realm”, together with God in His Glory!!

As we enter 2011 it is time to get our minds and thoughts on Heaven. I have been impressed by the Holy Ghost for the days ahead we need to focus back on where Jesus sits at the Right Hand of God. All the Godly judgment came from Heaven. Jesus came ministering the Kingdom of Heaven.

A great gift to the Lord this 2011 is to bring in the new year focusing our lives back on things of Heaven. This is where God’s Throne is. Out of heaven comes all our help for this day and the days ahead we are all facing. Let us build the Kingdom this year!!

Pastor Bobet has, and is, doing a wonderful job in handling Living Word Church. While Jodie and I were in the Philippines, we saw first hand that the church is growing. We are in need of 50 more chairs because of the church growth and the growth of the school. We have been very blessed with your help in providing some of our students churches with chairs in the past. Each one of those churches are still growing also.

This time of year is very hot, and it has been so hot in the classroom and church. Even the Filipinos were very hot! It is very hard to preach and teach in that kind of heat and humidity. Praise the Lord, before we left, while visiting one of our missionary friends, at their church one of their ministers had gotten 4 three ton air units. We have been able to make a deal for 3 of them for the auditorium. I thought that all 3 units and to get them installed would cost us about $1000, but to have the job done right to install them right we are going to need $1500 in all to do the job. This will help the ministry greatly for holding classes and the church services.

If you would like to help with purchasing any or all of the projects at hand, we thank you for your help.

Habakkuk 2:2-3 “And the Lord said, Write the vision and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie. though it tarry, wait for it, because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”

A vision is our focal point, a roadmap that keeps us on the right track with our ministries and lives. As we see in the Old Testament book, Habakkuk, written many years ago, this valuable instruction is true for us today.

Wisdom about having a goal, a vision is written to us in Proverbs also, and the value of keeping the law, the Word, of the Lord given concerning that.
Prov 29:18 “Where there is no vision, the people perish, but he that keepeth the law, happy is he

We’re seeing this happening before our eyes, God’s perfect plan for the Chariots of Fire
Missions, Philippines. We feel humbled, honored and privileged to be instrumental in seeing this work established.

Now we go back a couple of times a year to enjoy the fruit of our labor. We are blessed to watch the staff growing in the Lord and taking this ministry to a level that we couldn’t take it. They know the language and the people and customs and have been given Favor from God everywhere they’ve had a
crusade, a seminar, the daily school functions and in the city. We are still very involved with every decision and funding, thank you INVESTORS for being a part of it!

Another beautiful and powerful graduation for CHARIOTS OF FIRE MISSIONS. The evening was filled with excitement and joy. The graduates are also so very happy, blessed, encouraged and ready to conquer. Many have been in the ministry many years and have obtained a new, fresh faith and love for Jesus Christ and their walk with God.

It's a blessing and a reward for us to see. Bobet and Anna handled the school year again and have done an excellent job, there's no other word to explain it really. We are proud 'mom and pop' for sure.

How exciting it is to start packing those bags again for the trip to the Philippines. It is another school year gone by and we'll be doing the graduation service. We always have a lovely day planned for this awesome event, and this year is no different. Anna and Bobet have been busy getting the nice clothes ready for the grads and everything in order. The rehab, jail ministry, has also just had their 2nd graduation. How special it was to see them with their new shirts with the CFM logo, We are blessed, blessed today!!!..

A MOTHERS DAY

Today I'm thinking about Mothers Day coming up this weekend. I'm seeing all the ads and everywhere around me with things that are pretty and pink, flowers and perfume to give your moms. As I wrote the 'title' of this post and just added the simple "A", I realized when we really want to talk about 'a mothers day', it's not usually those fluffy things that are reality. No, the reality of that awesome privilege, but responsibility of being a real mom consists of daily decisions, constant direction, and prayer for wisdom of what to do! Little do we know when we take those precious little bundles home from the hospital what life changing is about to happen. This is true for fathers too, but not like the moms I do believe. There is still that connection between a mom and her child that lingers the rest of our lives to one extent and we feel for them, cry and laugh with them with heartfelt emotions. As Christian moms, we ultimately want to see our children serving God and knowing the joy of the Lord, His Protection and Provision and a fulfilled life that He gives. Lets continue to pray for our children and believe the Word of God to us: "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old when he is old, he will not depart from it" Prov 22:6. Happy Mothers Day !!

In the case of the school in the Philippines, we see both things!! Every week we see things with the staff and the students, but also we're seeing and hearing of the results of the powerful ministry. NEWS FROM THE PHILIPPINES

Great things are happening at the School of Ministry in the Philippines. Classes started Jan 12, we arrived on the 16th and started teaching every day! The students are hungry for more of God and His Word and eager to learn. The video classes of SMTI, our pastors teachings are building up and equipping the students for their ministries, and a true walk with God in their lives. Our staff is absolutely amazing! They work together like a well oiled machine, each one knows what to do and when to step in to make things run smoothly, a blessing to watch them. Bobet and Anna, our leaders while we are gone have done wisely and are truely gems in the ministry. Thank you INVESTORS for helping us get to this point. We know God is always, always taking us to a higher place and causing to triumph in Him, so we look for the increase in the ministry. The land next to us we need to purchase is being reserved for us and God is working behind the scenes now I do believe making it possible. The price is only p23,000 for the 360 meteres and we'll be building a couple of new buildings on it, parking for our vehicles and much more. God is making a difference here with CFM, the reputation of the school and staff goes before us! Hallelujah!!

A NEW YEAR it's hard to believe how fast time is going, but sure enough I have to get used to writing a new year on my checks again, seems it takes me about 4 months to 'crossover' to not write the old year! We are looking for great VICTORY this year with the School of Ministry. Bobet and Anna are doing a wonderful job and we see God's Hand on them to do it. We'll be going soon for a couple of weeks to minister and bless them and be a strength to them. We will continue to support financially the entire ministry there of course and make short trips. With the internet and messenger we stay very connected with them and help make decisions and plans, just as if we were there. What a huge blessing this has been for us. We'll continue this for 2010 and see what great things God has in store for us all! A YEAR OF VICTORY!!

I'm so blessed to be doing a very special Womens Day Oct 10. This is going to be a special time in the Word of God for us ladies. Sometimes I've gone away empty and discouraged at special events for us girls, when all that is talked about is...well, women things and 'feelings' etc. Sure we need some help in those areas, and we'll be addressing a few of those too, but on the most part, we are going to dig into the Word of God that is good for us and will help us grow strong!! Could be for ladies or guys!! This is a day we are living in that the Word of God is what is going to help us be fulfilled, strengthened, and overcomers in life! I encourage you today to get strong in the Lord!!

Time passes so quickly, I always say it, but it's always true!! We've traveled even more since I last wrote, we were in Michigan, Wisc. area, had great meetings and also with family, yeah! Nice to be home for a while, taking care of things before this Fall weather gets any cooler! I'm busy getting ready for a Womens Day at a church where I'll be the speaker, will be great and pray God will touch these ladies and give me just the message for them. Things are great in the Philippines and God spared them from the terrible typhoons that have hit recently, did much devastation in other parts of the island, so sad. Thank you Lord for Your Protection.

"I can't believe it is Mothers Day...again!! seems like we just had one of those and I was looking at the flowers my daughter sent me last year! How fast time flys and how wonderful to get gifts! But the real gift for a mom is the privilege to have raised those children! God gives us the opportunity to plant in those babies the things He has revealed to us in our lives. The Bible tells us to "....raise a child in the way he should go and when he is old he'll return...." We are so blessed being in the Philippines again and very blessed also to see what our staff have accomplished. They have grown so much during this time, spiritually and of course in maturity. The building progress is steadily moving forward and there is excitement in the air!! The School of Ministry is going strong and the students are taking their mid term exam tomorrow, they've been studying and are ready they say. New students are coming in that have heard the good reports from past graduates or those coming back for the 2nd or 3rd year class. But what blesses me is not just that people 'hear' about the school, but people are reporting that they 'see' what the school is doing and changing in lives. PTL! Good Morning!! I can't believe how much time has passed since I wrote last, the days just fly by, seems I remeber my mom always saying when you get older that happens!! It is really turning winter now where we are, the rainy season is slowing down in the Philippines, so there is change in weather everywhere. The building progress is slowly but surely coming together, I'll give you the link and you can see the progress of things, also our Investor Meeting in Okla, we'll have one in MN this week, so looking forward to that. If you are interested in becoming an investor we'd love to have you. Some have ask why we call those partners in the minstry with us "investors", I'll tell you how we think on that. The word INVESTOR is a word that gives us a feeling of accountability to those that support us. If we were investing in a company we'd get reports annually at least of our investment and what it is producing, we feel that same way toward those that give to this ministry, we want them to know and see what their offerings are producing. The seasons do come and go, whether we are ready for that or not!! But it is refreshing always when we begin to see the changes, thankful for living in a place where there are season changes, not so as much on the other side of the world. Everyday I learn something new about God, or I try to be aware of His Presence and His Teaching anyway. I long for "who He is" don't you? I'm thinking about writing a song with that title, but its just 'in me' right now, the words must express great depths with few words to be affective. "It has been too long since I wrote, I've planned on writing, started to write, and thinking of writing, just not sure why I didn't!! But here I am and blessed!! Since the last writing my hubby has had 3 shocks from his defibrilator, his heart just goes into those fast rhythm's and right now won't slow down on its own, so thankful for the device. But he continues to rise up and get stronger in his fervor and love for God, so thankful for him. The staff in the Philippines is doing a great job, they stay busy with a new Bible Study, the Jail Ministry and seminars and conferences in the area and the surrounding towns. We are proud of them and blessed that God brought them our way. Anna and Bobet have a new baby, she is precious and now we have 3 children in our CFM quarters, they keep us laughing and are enjoyable to have. "Vacation Surprise!!!!!

"After some healing time mentioned in the last post, we were blessed with a vacation in Branson. When the time approached Galen wasn't feeling just right and I was a bit apprehensive about making the trip, but it was planned and paid for and also a few preaching engagements afterwards. We just got into the room and Galen had a shock with his defibrillator, just about 15-20 minutes later he had another one!!! We know to call an ambulance and get to the ER if that happens, so with a lot of scurrying around and a medical team assisting we got to the local hospital.. After 4 nights in the hospital and several medicines getting regulated and his electrolytes corrected we are back in our vacation room!! We're just looking for the good things and can see how God, once again, came to our rescue from the very beginning of these happenings. We continue to Trust God, Confess and Believe that God has healed Galen from the top of his head to the soles of his feet!!! We'll finish what God has called us to do!! PTL"

"Yes....giving that body time to heal up really good!! Galen is doing much better and doing the cardio rehab exercises three times a week, that really helps, in fact I'm doing them right along with him....can't have him getting skinny and not me!! Things in the Philippines are doing so very good, they are having their mid term exam, right now as I write, since they are 13 hrs ahead of us it is Tues morning right now and the students are quietly doing their tests. We're so very proud of Anna and Bobet, Alma, Mario and the rest of our wonderful staff for taking this awesome responsibility and doing it well!! This puts us at ease that the ministry has not been hindered but is carrying on, doing what God called CFM to do!! "Teaching the Nationals to Reach Their People for Christ with Excellence." Its been quite a while since I've written and much has happened. Galen had heart surgery to repair and replace valves. After a few trials and situations that slowed down the healing process in his body, he is now doing much better, still healing up, but much better!! Thats a victory report for sure!! We are so very thankful for Gods Healing Promises!! This week we have friends going to the Philippines to minister to our students and staff. This is going to be a great blessing to them. Our staff has started the school as usual in the middle of January and are doing an excellnt job. For this we are thankful too!! "

"It is so hard to believe that we are in 2008 already!! And here I haven't written since November 07, I can't believe it!! Time goes so fast nowdays it seems. Well, we are still at home, we'll go over to the Philippines later this year.. Hubby needs to see the dr again this week on things, he does seem a bit better, but as far as they say this doesn't 'improve', but..... God's Report of Healing says He Will!! Our school in the Philippines will begin Jan 15, so excited for them and pray many will come to the school. Our staff has worked so hard these past months with hardly any days to themselves or for their vacations. So proud of them and happy with what we see in them. To God be all the Glory for that!!"

"Everyday is getting better and better! Great reports from the staff overseas of what they are doing and hubby is feeling better everyday too, stronger and more like himself. He has been coughing a lot lately and getting thru that one, but all in all, his heart is doing good!! Better and Better!!!

"Oh its been too long since I've written or posted a picture, life moves too fast! Since writing, Pstr Dunn has been in and out of the hospital several times, a new defibrillator, angiogram and Cardiac Ablation. The last one was supposed to be a 3-5 hr deal and out the next morning after an all night observation, but ended up being an 11 hr procedure, then 6 hrs the next day to repair the leads to the heart they interrupted the day before and then a hour the next day to set his heart into fast rhythm to 'check it out'!! He was in until late Friday instead of our the previous Tues, so has been interesting. BUT, he is getting better and better everyday, so thankful for the medical technology to improve things in our body, but oh so thankful that God is indeed the Healer and it's His Hand that has improved his heart. Blessed today just telling of God's mercies again!! Have a good day... lv J"

"We are certaintly blessed to have a 'blast from the past' visit us this week. In 1974 we had a young man come to one of our services we were ministering in and accepted Jesus as his savior. He was so happy, he just wanted to talk about the Lord, after we got home he called and wanted to talk some more!! I heard a lot of noise in the background and ask where he was, he shyly told me that where he lived, above a bar where they supplied drugs, but he planned on moving soon. I told him to pack his bags (which was a brown paper sack), and wait for us on the corner, we were picking him up and bringing him to our home. Bill lived with us for the next 4 or 5 years, we saw God restore his mind, his language extended beyong the frontward and backward 'WOW' he said often, and he began blossoming in the Ways of God in his life. He has kept in contact with us over the years and sends offerings to help with the ministry, but last year he came up to visit us. We had a wonderful time and that same sweet spirit he has that I remember so well. He'll be coming up tonight again and we are so looking forward to him coming. He wants to always help us when we go out and minister, carry things or whatever is needed, so he'll be going with us this weekend to a church. Our pastor prayed over us that people from our past that we had touched would begin to come into our lives again, several years ago he prayed that, it surely is happening. So blessed"

I Cor 1:5 “That in everything ye are enriched by him, in all utterance and in all knowledge” I love this verse, in fact I think I’ve written about this verse before. Those of you that tell me you save the ‘JODIE’S SITE’ to read over and over again may write me and remind me too! But the verses that bring life to us we continue to go over and over them again don’t we? I love the word “ENRICHED”!! We don’t have to look too far in our kitchen cabinets to see something that has been enriched or fortified to make it taste better, better for you, or just entices you to have it!! That’s the way the Word of God is in our lives, like the Psalmist said, “….oh taste and see that the Lord is good…’. The Word does bring a satisfying ‘taste’,… “ENRICHED’….the Word is definitely ‘better for you compared with other things we see, read, and hear everyday, amen? And the Word of God is enticing to us, makes us hungry for more!! So we could say for sure, as Paul said in I Cor 1:5, that in everything [that God says in the Word] ENRICHES AND FORTIFIES us!! I call you blessed, enriched, fortified with Gods Word and alive in Christ today!!! Read your Bible today, its good for you!! Lv.. J

" We were out this weekend to minister at a church in Ruthton USA! It felt wonderful to be doing worship again too, I didn't bring my violin, my new 'thing' I'm learning, thought I'd spare them all!! Galen preached Sunday am and pm, he was lovin' it for sure. With all this 'stuff' going on with his heart, hospitals and medicine, sure can discourage ya' if you let it. It made me so happy to see him back doing what he does best, preaching the Word!! We loved spending time with our friends Rich and Fran, Henry and Rhonda too, good to have those long time friends still around to talk about God's Goodness and Faithfulnes with, there's enough negative in the 'atmosphere' people are dwelling on as it is! "Much has happened since the last post, thought I'd update this 'diary'! Galen went back to the hospital on July 4th, shortly after I posted the flag and was getting our celebration day of b'bque. He had a shock while we were sitting on the deck having watermelon, this began 5 days of many happenings. After being in the hospital for checking the heart and several tests, he was dismissed on the 5th, but later that day another shock and back we went to the hospital. The next day, the same, more testing and adjusting meds, released, and another shock before we got out of the hospital!!This time it was for a heart medicine change on an IV drip that took several days to complete, so a long weekend stay in the room. Were we ever glad to be back on our way home on that Monday! All is good now, he has recooperated quite well and ready to go out and start ministering again...me too!! We believe God has great things in store for us while home in the states, the work in the Philippines is busy and powerful. Many in the jails are getting born again, the seminar ministry of our staff teaching is starting and the crusades. So thankful for all that is being done. Thank you Jesus for Your Blessings!! "We made it home to the USA on Tues June 19, had an appt with the heart dr the morning of the 20th and at 3:15 that same afternoon, Galen is in surgery getting a new device implanted.!! And all this while getting over an international flight too! He is healing up nicely and feeling stronger every day. Today is Saturday and we've been recouperating at our friends house but must go on to our home tomorrow. We're praying for Gods Direction for these months we are at home, also for the time limit he needs to stay home and rest or what we need to do, this is our focus right now. We continue to pray for the staff and the building project going on overseas too. I feel a bit anxious about it all, want to do things right and not too fast, or not drag our feet either!!"

"We have decided to go on back to the states and find out what is happening with Galens heart and the defibrillator. He has had 4 shocks in a month, that sure wears on him, but there were others since we've been here, several in January soon after we arrived. It may be time for a new implant, they have even better defibrillators now that should be more matching to the problems his heart has, skipped beats and VT, where the heart races and won't stop on its own, thue recv'ng a shock to get the heart back in rhythum. We are continuing to claim Gods Promise of Healing, a complete healing for that heart muscle!"

"SUCCESS!! thats the word that comes to mind to describe the wonderful graduation event last night. We had a packed-out room and all things ran smoothly. The graduates did a wonderful job with their songs, the honor students with their speeches, and of course our wonderful staff and their presentations. What a blessing it was to have our special speaker from the states here also, that was the 'creme' on top for the evening. Today we are crashing after a very very busy 6 months of the School of Ministry. We'll stay in the country another month or so before going back to the states. There is still ministry going on here at CFM and WEd chapel services the grads come back to enjoy. This has been a great school year!! "

Actually it is Sunday morning here, I see the blog date is still Saturday, different time zone, seems strange. When I talk to my daughter in the states and it is one day there and another day and time here that is very odd. But this brings me to a thought today, how life moves on and the times change and our ways of reaching people for Christ needs to be modified also. I just read someones blog, a pastors wife and viewed info on their church etc, made me realize this more. As I approach the big 6-0 this year and have been living for God in the ministry now almost 35 years, saved at age 16, I have a few years under my belt I guess. HOw I do realize what a wonderful Saviour we have in Jesus, His Name is truly Wonderful, Counselor, Faithful and Provider. I love to talk about His Names we see in the Bible, brings strength to us. Still doing the praise and worship all these years, having been in a Gospel group in the 70's and many other things, the strength of the worship I see happening in the Body of Christ is becoming stronger, the hunger to be in His Presence is increasing in this age....which says 'we need it'!! I encourage you to stay strong, no matter what you age or 'how many years', the Truth is still the same. "Good Morning! The time is passing so quickly I can hardly believe it. We are really gearing up for graduation here at CFM. We have a special speaker coming from the states which will be great, always excitiing for everyone. The clothes are being made, almost finished and we'll be picking them up soon. The plans for the details are coming together also, we're getting better at these things after 10 years! As I view a few others spaces or blogs, I realize how lost people are in their thinking and understanding of God and a life in Christ. We need to continue to reach out to people in this age more than ever to bring people out of darkness and into His Glorious Light. Seeing the things people do celebrate, and as now things are preparing all over this country for their fiesta's and partying, much drinking and gambling are associated with that, which bring more oppresion in peoples lives. oh God help us Christians to be bold with the Gospel is my prayer for you and me. Today we have a crusade in the afternoon, helping out one of our grads in an area where he has a Bible Study, to 'stir' the nest there I guess you could say. Believe this will be a good one. We’ve seen our ministry staff, Bobet, Ana, and Alma becoming stronger and stronger in their teaching and are a great blessing to us. The SMTI, Supernatural Ministries Training Institute, video classes by Dr Mark T. Barclay continue to produce great results every year. HOW THE MINISTRY FUNCTIONS We also wanted to provide you with a brief summary of how we run the ministry. The finances you give for designated building fund or other projects are used just for that. The monthly amounts you give pays for running the school, staff, and ourselves. We’ve learned that everything God accomplishes in a Christians life begins with a seed, there have been great testimonies from some of you about the seed you’ve sown here for needs you have there. We also operate that same principle and sow seed into credible ministries and missions in another country to give us a field of harvest for our work here. To see the ‘amounts’ on paper vs. what’s been accomplished don’t look like it is possible, but we all know God has a better system, amen? The preparations are in the works now, the beautiful clothes are being made and the Grand Ballroom at the Queen Margarette has been reserved again. The ‘pre-graduation’ party the students have for the day and night classes to be together will be in the new building. It is ‘open air’ right now and cement floor, but that’s okey, we’ll be praying over every room together as well as having a party. Our guest speaker for the grad night will be here for that special evening as well. The students are so blessed to receive their certificates of completion, both from our classroom teachings and crusade participation, and certainly from Dr. Barclay for the SMTI classes. We'll be doing crusades this weekend and believeing many will be saved and healed and filled with the Holy Ghost!! People all over the world are hungry for God, nothing can fill that void in our lives but Him. It's so sad to see how people have tried to replace the relationship with God, our Creator, with houses and clothes, busy things and evil things, but it just won't ever fill them. "The days are going by so quickly and the building is really taking shape. The School of Ministry is exciting everyday and the students are 'energized' I pray like we are!! Report on the building: The 2nd floor of the classroom, staff housing and bathrooms will be pouring this next week, then the walls start going up!! yeah!! We surely are on the 'down-hill' slope I think. God is faithful to provide the funds needed we've had only a little down time with no work being done, so thankful for that!! This whole thing is such a miracle!! We just got back from checking out things and went to the mall nearby, so nice to have that mall there, even to have a McDonalds once in a while makes me feel 'American' again here in this foreign land! We'll be getting read for graduation soon, the clothes made, songs ready and preparation for a wonderful evening which will be June 8. Praying now for that $2000 needed to make this a really great evening and take care of our guest speakers from the states. "

"Oh my goodness!! I looked at the last post I wrote, how time does fly by 'when you're having fun', they say!! We are having a blast!! We've had visitors, our first group of 9 people and what a great week we had together, then we have more visitors coming Mar 20, so we are busy. The school is doing good and the students seem to be loving it. The Praise and Worship is awesome every day, am and pm classes, wears me out, but I try to sleep a little in between classes. We're so blessed to see our building continue to go up and how excited we are to get in there, praying for the entire balance of money we need come in quickly!!

CHRISTMAS DAY

What a wonderful Christmas day here in the Philippines we had, no snow, ah bummer! But it was fun and we are so blessed ourselves to be able to give gifts to many here,a thats the spirit of Christmas, giving! God is doing great things in Chariots of Fire Mission and are seeing Him shown Himself strong to us and thru us, so thankful. Today the construction workers at at it again,we're seeing things put together in preparation for the new roof right before our eyes. We'll need to find a place soon to rent so they can come in our living quarters of the building to work, but it'll all be worth it when finished, Blessed, Blessed!! Ps 34 is a wonderful Psalm that I'm leaning on and trusting in this month, I don't know what people do that only trust in themselves and not in God!!

BUILDING PROJECT

Today was a good day, the builders are getting closer and closer surrounding us with the construction, we'll be moving to a rental place soon I hope!! It was very cool today, a nice break from the heat and typhoons we've had, was 'easier' to think about Christmas is only a couple of days away, but no snow in the forcast here in the Philippines!! God is teaching us many things, so thankful and look forward to what He has in store in 2007!!

RAIN, RAIN, GO AWAY!

"Last night and today, up to noon, we've had rain, rain, rain. I heard there is supposed to be a typhoon headed this direction, but we REBUKE that in Jesus Name. The afternoon cleared off a little, but has returned to drizzle since the midday. it is 7 pm and a steady rain, so praying it doesn't continue all night. There is a lot of sand piled up outside and other things the builders had to leave in the street by our house. A guy is supposed to be sleeping outside to watch it, that it doesn't 'disappear' during the night, but we'll see tonight!! I can't imagine anyone wanting to steal that wet heavy stuff. Especially when there is PS 91 protecting us and everything that belongs to us. , amen? We're looking for a place to move into for a few months, this isn't always easy and to have the security we need here, so am feeling a little stressed about that this Christmas week, but God always makes things work out just fine.This will be the same, he just does it over and over again. Trying to get things ready for the newsletter this evening while hubby is at a ministers meeting, so better keep at it. If you are reading this, know that God is FOR you, not against you. What a nice scripture to have on my mind before I go to bed tonight."

I'm sure by the time this project is over I won't be taking as many pictures, or even care to watch it, I'll just be ready to move into it!! Today they began putting the scaffolding next to our living area and began also pounding the walls and floors in the classroom to begin the support posts for the new roof. At the rate they are going, it won't take long to get the 21 posts needed built, ahhh. then the roof and redirecting the stairways, exciting!! During all this, we see God has directed us to this point in every way. Thats one thing about God, He continues to stretch us and refine us in this Christian walk with Him, so thankful for that. "Here it is, quite a few months later and I decided to write again. Oh so much has happened in my life, good things that is 'natural' for God to do. So thankful!! Being back in the Philippines now and ready to begin our buidling project is a Miracle. Today I'm praying for Gods Wisdom, Advice, and to lead us into this a step at a time. Also today it is one day closer to Christmas, and I have much to do to get ready here. Truthfully it is hard to think Christmas when you have the air conditioner on, ha! But thats life in the PI!! A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MISSIONARY"

Chariots of Fire Missions " Being that we are missionarys and our day by day life becomes very normal, I realized recently, after a conversation with a friend via email, that there are those that are absolutely intriged by what it must be like, "what do you do??" kind of questions. So, thus, I am writing a few events that may not be 'normal' for those from my country. Up at 3:30 - 4:30 to avoid the sounds of roosters, dogs barking, jeepnees, tricycles honking, people talking, laughing or shouting. Ahh,, quiet this morning, at 5am I hear the regular sound of the boy selling hot bread, walking the neighborhood is his area carrying his taped up styrofoam box containing hot rolls, 'pandesol' its called. I'm convinced this is the same recipe as 'manna' the children of Israel ate daily, for just like the Bible says, it was only good for that day. I've tried to wrap my left over bread securely, warm it up only lightly or toast it the next day, just taste terrible!! Since we have a fence around our place as well as bars on the windows, which is normal life here, the young man giving me the bread in a small plastic bag thru the fence is sometimes tricky. I guess I could open the gate for him, but not always a good idea. So into my very small living quarters I find a snug place to enjoy my coffee and bread, or go my my 'fountain' as I call it, a small garden with a little fountain, where my birds are waiting for me to bring them a treat. When the 'sounds' and moving around of our house boys cleaning all around me begin to consume by thinking, I retreat and go back into our small, but refuge, living room. There was a time I never thought my husband and myself could live in such a small area, but there is a clean bathroom and a bedroom, so not complaining. The temperature in my kitchen yesterday was 91, ahhh, I'm glad for the air con in the living quarters to get a little refreshed. This is normal for me now. Tomorrow I'll write about our School of Ministry. 8pm time to go to bed! later..J
